The operation of all devices of the laser printer is realized by a control system, which is called an "electronic control system". The control system of different models is different, but the working principle is basically the same. The electronic control system mainly consists of the following parts.
(1) Power supply circuit: Provide control voltage for each part of the printer. The power supply circuit is rectified, filtered and transformed by 220V alternating current to provide 24V, 5V direct current working voltage for the laser printer.
(2) Interface circuit: establish communication between computer and printer. Receive computer data information and convert it into printer language to provide printing data to the main control circuit of the printer. The interface circuit includes a microprocessor (CPU). Memory (RAM/ROM).
(3) Main control circuit: The main control circuit is to control the printer's various devices to work together in order to complete the printing process according to the data received by the interface circuit.
(4) Scanning drive circuit: The received computer information is generated by a high-frequency oscillator to generate a laser beam, and the scanning motor is controlled to rotate at a uniform speed to drive the scanning mirror to complete the scanning exposure of the photosensitive drum to form an electrostatic latent image.
(5) Main motor drive circuit: According to the instructions issued by the main control circuit, the main motor is driven to rotate, and the power is transmitted to each part of the operation through the gear transmission device.
(6) High-voltage transfer circuit: This circuit converts the low-voltage power provided by the power supply circuit into a high voltage through a transformer to provide the photosensitive drum charging and transfer roller transfer needs.
