Scraper cleaning for laser printers-Alice

November 27, 2021

The rubber cleaning blade is made of urea-formaldehyde resin, has a straight blade and is abrasion resistant and flexible. The blade and the surface of the photosensitive drum form a shear angle and have a certain pressure. When the photosensitive drum rotates with the toner remaining on the surface, the remaining toner is scraped into the waste toner collection bin by the cleaning blade. There is also a non-return sheet at the position opposite to the scraper to prevent the waste powder from flying out after cleaning. Since the rubber scraper is always sheared with the photosensitive drum and has a certain pressure, it will cause the surface of the photosensitive drum to wear, and the blade of the scraper is coated with lubricating powder. If the blade of the cleaning blade is damaged, the toner remaining on the surface of the photosensitive drum cannot be completely removed, causing the images in the next printing cycle to overlap and produce poor printing results.
