A common refrigerator temperature controller is composed of a temperature sensing tube (about 3mm in diameter), a bellows, and a micro switch. The temperature sensing tube is connected with the bellows and is sealed, and it is filled with a temperature sensing medium (liquid or gas). When the temperature rises, the temperature-sensitive medium in the bellows expands, pushing the bellows to extend; when the temperature decreases, the temperature-sensitive medium shrinks, and the bellows also shortens. The top of the bellows pushes a micro switch on or off.
In actual use, the micro switch of the thermostat is serially connected to the compressor power supply of the refrigerator. When the temperature in the refrigerator rises to the set value, the micro switch in the thermostat is turned on, and the compressor power is also turned on to start cooling; when the temperature in the refrigerator drops to the set value, the micro switch is turned off. The compressor's power supply is also disconnected to stop the refrigeration...The cycle continues, and the temperature inside the refrigerator is kept within a smaller range.
